Beat acne by changing your diet

You should exclude certain foods and take large amounts of water.
The number one cause of acne in both teenagers and adults is indiscriminate eating and junk food intake.

Limit the intake of sugars, semi-finished products, snacks, chips, fried foods, and preservatives.

Alcohol and carbonated drinks. Alcohol in small quantities has a good effect on the body, but large quantities lead to a number of problems. Alcohol causes dehydration of the body, which can aggravate acne. Fizzy drinks are high in sugar, which is food for acne-causing bacteria. Overdoing them worsens the condition.

Milk and milk products. Dairy products, even so-called “organic products”, invariably contain animal hormones that stimulate the sebaceous glands to produce large amounts of sebum. For this, limit dairy products if you want to limit acne. Beware of hidden sources of dairy products such as salad dressings, for example. You should provide other sources of calcium for your body – green leafy vegetables, broccoli, tofu, cabbage, etc.

Meat. If you want your diet to be effective, you must reduce your intake of meat – pork, beef, and eggs. Don’t completely eliminate them from your menu, but you should reduce them drastically – about 1/6 of the normal intake you had until now. Excessive intake of meat gives an acidic character to body fluids and disrupts the PH balance. Meat is a rich source of proteins, which are more difficult to break down. As a result, the proteins remain partially undegraded and begin to ferment, producing sugars and yeast as byproducts. These byproducts provoke acne.

Dough products from white wheat flour. Such are bread, biscuits, pizza, pasta, doughnuts, cakes, cupcakes, etc. Processing of the grain is carried out with various chemicals – nitrogen, benzoyl peroxide, etc. They can cause diabetes and increase free radicals in the body. They are also the cause of a change in hormone levels, which aggravates the acne condition.

Sugar. Sugar and acne-causing bacteria are best friends. Sugar causes inflammation at the cellular level and causes premature aging of the skin and the whole organism. Studies show that we consume at least 200 grams of sugar daily. To affect hormone-based acne, we need to reduce sugars to 15-20 grams per day. Be careful and read food labels. There are many hidden sources of sugar. Kenche carbonated drink, for example, contains about 40 g of sugar, and two standard cookies – about 7-10 g.

Tips for successful dieting.

Try to drink 1 liter at a time. water until noon.

Start taking a probiotic. It will populate the gastrointestinal tract with beneficial bacteria and suppress the growth of acne-causing bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes).
Prefer raw foods – fruits, vegetables, smoothies, salads, and fresh fruit are preferable. There are no restrictions on quantities.
Have breakfast with chia seeds, oatmeal, or a smoothie. The gelatin-like structure of chia seeds helps expel bacteria from the body.
Make snacks between main meals with fresh or dried fruit, watch out for added sugar in dried products. You can also snack on nuts and seeds.
Eat salads for lunch – tomatoes, sprouts, and lettuce are preferable. You can also add lean meats – chicken or turkey. They are recommended in this diet. For vegetarians, meat can be replaced with tofu, soy products, chickpeas, beans, and grilled cottage cheese.
Try to make your daily intake of water at least 2 liters. You can also drink green tea and fresh fruit juices. Avoid bottled juices that have added sugar.
Dinner can be stew or soup made from vegetables or lean meats. Prefer gluten-free bread.
For a visible effect, it is recommended to follow the food plan for 30 days. If you think you won’t make it, start the diet for 3-5 days, but you must be strict by completely excluding packaged foods and sugar from your menu.

Following the diet strictly, you may feel a slight discomfort at the beginning such as dizziness, your breath starts to smell, and fatigue. These are normal detox symptoms that subside after 2-3 days. Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins.
