When the balance of its functions is destroyed, the human immune system includes the corresponding protective processes and begins to react to the most ordinary things.
Then the allergy occurs – the increased sensitivity of the body to various substances, manifested by unusual reactions upon contact with them.
The most common symptoms are runny nose, watery eyes, skin rashes, and cough.
Such are the manifestations of allergy under the influence of “computer” allergens – allergic rhinitis, cough, eye (watering, redness of the eyes, puffiness of the eyelids, “sand in the eyes”), and skin (itching, rash, dry skin) reactions.
They also often cause severe headaches, increased nervousness, increased blood pressure, and increased heart rate.
This is because the computer is a potential source of a number of allergies.
The power supply unit, processor, and video card contain various resins, chlorine-, phosphorus-containing organic and inorganic compounds.
There is a specific fire retardant, a non-flammable substance called triphenyl phosphate in the monitor housing. When the monitor is heated during operation, a small amount of this substance is released into the atmosphere.
It is this that causes allergic reactions in some people.
In and around the computer itself, there are many places where dust and dirt accumulate, and germs and fungi multiply. Another source of allergens is the printer, and more specifically the ink used to print.
The simplest advice is to stay away from the computer. But since the machine has become an integral part of our daily life, this is almost impossible, so you can at least reduce the work with it.
Keep your workplace clean and ventilate your home and office.
As an additional anti-allergic measure, it is necessary to keep your immune system stable and eat foods rich in vitamins and minerals.
Unfortunately, people with increased sensitivity react not only to the radiation from the computer. They cannot talk for a long time on the mobile phone, they cannot watch TV for a long time, or be near high-voltage electrical transmitters.
Some of them even use irons and electric razors with difficulty. Basically, these people feel bad during magnetic storms, because they are also weather dependent.
